I also use DirectoryBot but I'm abit more aggressive as I do 50 per day cause I know they all wont get accepted at once. I guess I want to get it done quick.

I use DirectoryBot and it's been my experience that it can take months for the pages to get indexed. I only do directory submissions because i can automate it, i don't think it's worth the time to do it all manually.

I've been using Incansoft's DirectoryBot for a few weeks to submit my domains to ditectories. It has something like 500 in its database. It works well when you break up the submissions into smaller chunks. That way, they don't all get indexed at the same time, which is bad for your site. I split my submissions into 50 directory blocks and hit the submit button once a week. That's slow enough to stay under the radar and often enough to get loads of low quality links pointing at my sites.
